Kalyan Ram New Telugu Film Kathi Movie Review:
After a long gap Nandamuri Kalyan Ram Comes with Same old Sister centiment in his new Fim Kathi. But It seems to be not worked So far That Big. But It was not a disaster film. I think it will give Some relife to Kalyan Ram Fans when Compared to old Films.

Story :
A passable tale, the story begins with Ramakrishna (kalyanram) whose aim is to get into the national football team. He has a huge family which dotes on him and among them, he dotes on his sister Haritha (saranya mohan). He keeps protecting her at all times and the time comes when he has to go to the selections. Meanwhile, Haritha goes missing and the family members convince Ramakrishna that she will be back. However, he discovers Haritha being chased by few goons and they are led by Mohan Krishna (shaam). What happened to Haritha? Why was she chased? What does Ramakrishna do this time? all this forms the rest of the story.

Artist Performance:
Kalyan Ram has worked hard to look different but he looks good only in dances. Performance wise he hasn’t improved much. He does okay. Sharanya Mohan excels in her role both as chirpy girl and as a suffering wife. Newcomer Sana Khan has nothing much to do other than singing songs and Shaam carries the movie with single expression throughout the movie. Veteran actor Kota is at his best. Other comedians are okay.

Technical And Other Departments:
On technical front, Sarvesh Murari’s camera work deserves the praise. Ram Lakshman’s action stunts are also good but they don't gel with the story. Writer Vakkantam has just recycled the story of several mass masala movies and one wonders how does Kalyan Ram, the producer, accepted such hackneyed storyline. Dialogue writer Ratnam’s lines are also not effective. Music is another drawback. Director Mallikarjun has tried to give the film a glossy look. But he is letdown by the writers. Jaded script of the movie is the main villain.

Analysis:
Movies on sister sentiment have come quite often so there is nothing new in terms of the story or its execution. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of comedy, romance and fights, the second half gets all sentimental and melodramatic. Perhaps the film could have been lot better if focus was given on the content and few extra twists were added during the second half. The technical values were good. At the box office, this might appeal the TV serial audience to an extent but it might be an average grosser.

Final View:
It Seems To be Kalyan Ram’s Katti lacks shine, But it will Passable...! If You are Big Fan of Kalyan Ram Go and watch it at your own Risk. There is nothing New In the Film
