She has an good award winning actress. She got many awards for Malayalam films.she got National Film award for Best actress ( Paruthi Veeran) in 2007. By this she also got tamil nadu state film award & Best tamil actress film fare award in 2007 .Nadigar Sangam alias the South Indian Cine Artistes’ Association (SICAA), has reportedly sent ‘firm’ instructions to the two artistes to ensure their participation in the protest fast planned by Kollywood on 1st November to support the Lankan Tamils’ cause. The two had reportedly avoided, due to various reasons, participating in both the ‘major’ events held so far.
Primayani made a fleeting visit during the fast conducted by Kollywood in April on the Hogenakkal row. This time, both the actresses have been ‘advised’ to be present at the venue of the fast from 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. Both had, approached the Sangam to solve their various grievances in the past which were promptly attended to and mediated
by the Sangam.They have, therefore, been told in no uncertain terms that unless they attended the protest fast this around, their request for help in case something went wrong in future won’t be paid any attention by the Sangam.
